Established in 1995, Ray Desilets began the Advantage Tennis journey of a unique tennis court construction company unlike it’s competitors. Beginning his career in the industry in 1974, Ray excelled at developing new and efficient ways of doing things. This efficient way of thinking hasn’t slowed in over 40 years. The future of Advantage Tennis is in it’s innovative thinking, customers and employees.
Innovative thinking has lead to Advantage Tennis becoming an reputable name in the industry by: bringing SportMaster coatings to New England, helping with the innovation of the ColorPlus system and the SportMaster Bulk System (making Advantage Tennis the very first customer), state-of-the-art mixers and pumps (making Advantage Tennis the only company in the nation to own and operate 3 of these specialized systems) and several industry wide developments in coating and maintenance techniques.
Among it’s many accomplishments in the industry, Advantage Tennis has prided itself on making its operations indiscriminate towards gender. Because of the companies focus on efficiency and quality, both men and women are able to be employed, allowing constant improvements to business from different strateg￼ic ways of thinking.
Nicquelle Timson, daughter of Ray, has now become a leading voice in the company. Starting her career painting lines for fun as a child, led to becoming an official employee in 2002. Being the bosses daughter did not stop her from starting at the bottom and learning the company inside out. Leaving the customers to her father, Nicquelle has become the voice of the employees as the companies project manager. Working side-by-side with all of the companies employees allows for better communication, better understanding of the labor and a constant means for improvements.
This constant means of improvement, becomes a determining factor for customers in choosing Advantage Tennis. Unlike it’s competitors, Advantage Tennis, uses honesty and quality as it’s selling pitch.
